Freshman scores big award after stellar performance
Last week, forward Anna Podojil notched two goals at Oxford, Mississipi's Rebel Classic.
The SEC obviously took notice and has named the Razorback forward as SEC Freshman of the Week.
In a 1-1 contest, Podojil scored the goal in Thursday's draw against Minnesota. Her playtime was 101 minutes fo the total 110-minute game.
On Sunday, the freshman put home a cross from Taylor Malham, a junior, during the 49th minute which was her second goal in as many matches.
For the season, Podojol has managed six points, including two assists in the UNC-Greensboro season opener. In the first four matches, she also has eight shots.
