North Texas runner gets major SEC recognition
A runner who was top in a recent invitational has been gets a big honor.
Arkansas’ Myles Richter was named the Southeastern Conference Men’s Co-Freshman of the Week following the Hurricane Invitational this past weekend at Mowhawk Sports Complex.
Ritcher made his Razorback debut by finishing as the No. 1 runner helping the Razorbacks to a second-place finish at the Hurricane Invitational in Tulsa. The freshman from Lewisville, Texas by way of Lewisville Hebron High School needed only 20 minutes, 26 seconds to finish the four-mile course.
No. 20 Arkansas will be back in action on Sept. 20 when the Razorbacks compete in Boston, Mass. at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
